Indian Wedding is considered to be a full packet of sacraments and celebrations. It creates and builds up a sacred and spiritual viewpoint in the life of the bride and the bridegroom. It develops the personality of man and woman, creating a respectful and rightful place for them in the society. The traditional Indian wedding also brings about two families together.

The Hindu Vedas provide some rituals which solemnises the Indian weddings. In Hindu Dharma, the marriage fosters love and respect for the entire family and not self-interest. The bride and the bridegroom take 7 oaths towards each other, known as ‘Mangal Feras’, for self-restraint, to work together for each other and for the welfare of their family. Both, the man and the woman promise each other to live a respectful and happy life.
